Mid-term Break
School will be closed on Thursday, 19th and Friday, 20th February for the mid-term break. We will be open as normal Monday through Wednesday, and school will finish at the normal time on Wednesday.

Planting Bulbs
We planted bulbs this week. After the mid-term break we will look at preparing to plant things in the small garden space in our school yard.

Inaugural Parent-Teacher Association Meeting
Our first meeting will take place on Tuesday, 17th February at 19.00. All parents are welcome to attend. The meeting will be to discuss the establishment of the PTA as well as to begin planning for a school event/fundraiser that will take place in April.

Board of Management
Our Board of Management will meet for the first time in early March. One of their first tasks will be to draft and ratify a number of key policies. All stakeholders, including parents, staff and children, will be consulted as appropriate.

Gaeilge
We continued to talk about clothes in the Irish lessons. Here is a simple but important phrase to use with various items of clothing.
