Pupil Online Database

A form will be sent home asking for information requested by the Department of Education and Skills.  Please return these forms by Friday, 6th March.  If you have questions or concerns, please speak with Matt.

Spring Fair

Please save the date for an event to be held at the school on Saturday, 18th April.  We will be having a Spring Fair from 12.00-16.00.  Both a fundraiser and an event to develop our school community, there will be a craft market, a café, a bouncy castle, a raffle and workshops and activities for parents and children to enjoy together including circus skills, parachute games, visual arts and more.   There will be planning meeting for the event on Wednesday, 5th March at 19.00 at the school.  All parents are invited to attend the meeting and help ensure a great event for our school.

Literacy Practice at Home

You will find a new set of letters to practice in the plastic envelopes.  The word-building activities are very important and ideally should be done a few minutes daily.  In addition, we’ll soon be sending home readers.  We’ll prepare these books at school and then children should read them with an older family member.  In addition, we will be sending home a written task approximately once per week.

Last week we enjoyed making and eating pancakes on Pancake Tuesday!
