Happy Mid-Term Break
Sincere thanks to everyone for all their efforts over the past two months! The school will be closed for mid-term break, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday, 2nd November. Have a safe and relaxing break!
Labeling Personal Items
Every year we end up donating lots of lost coats, hats, gloves and other personal items that are left behind. The easiest solution to avoid this situation is for parents to write your children’s names on the tag or item which helps us return any lost items to their owner. Thanks for your assistance with this!
Healthy Heroes
Yesterday Second Class went to the University of Galway for the annual Healthy Heroes event. They had a busy, active day learning about all the ways to stay healthy.
Halloween
We had an enjoyable assembly, plenty of costumes and lots of games and fun activities in the classes on Friday.
First Committee Meetings
Over the last two weeks representatives have been chosen for the seven pupil-led committees in the school. We had our first meetings on Thursday afternoon.
Well done to Fionnuala who led as co-captain the Salthill-Knocknacarra Camogie Team in the County Final yesterday.
