Our Admissions Policy is aligned to the requirements set out in the Education (Admission to Schools) Act, 2018. The policy lays out procedures related to admissions for the school.

The window for submitting applications for places for the 2026-2027 school year is now open. Please scroll down and complete the form below.

The school has two autism classes for children who are eligible for a place in these classes, as explained in the Admissions Notice. A new procedure is in place requiring a Letter of Eligibility from the National Council for Special Education to confirm eligibility for a place in the autism classes. Further information is available here. The school happy is to assist parents with this process.

You are welcome to contact the school if you would like to arrange an appointment to visit the school and meet the principal. You are also invited to attend an Open Evening on Thursday, 27th November from 18.30 to 19.30.

Knocknacarra Educate Together National School no longer accepts pre-enrolment application forms for future years. If you are interested in being contacted when the enrolment process for 2027 and future years is open, please complete this Expression of Interest Form.
