4th Class were in the final stages of preparing to present a musical version of Lafcadio, the Lion Who Shot Back by Shel Silverstein. Then, schools across the country and the world closed due to the pandemic. When the class returned to the school in Autumn 2020, it was decided to create a radio drama production of the play as restrictions wouldn’t allow a live performance. Singing was done outside and with physical distancing. Children in small groups recorded their lines. The children created fantastic drawings to help bring the story alive.
