Contact Details

Thank you to all the parents who have returned the contact details information to the school.  Once all are received, we’ll distribute the contact details to each each class.  This will enable parents to arrange playdates and parties more easily.

Galway Educate Together Second-Level Campaign

For several years, a group of parents from around Galway have been campaigning for the establishment of an Educate Together second-level school.  The best way families can support the campaign is to complete an expression-of-interest form for your child.  Children of all ages can be included.  Forms were sent home with our new junior infants.  Additional forms are available from Claudia in the office, or you can visit the following website to complete an online expression of interest: www.get2ls.org.

McSharry Pharmacy Loyalty Card Points

McSharry Pharmacy has started a new loyalty card points system.  Parents and anyone else may donate their loyalty points to our school.  More details are available in any of the McSharry Pharmacy stores.

National Fitness Day

Every Friday morning the entire school gathers together for a whole-school Morning Meeting.  The different classes share information about what they’ve done the previous week and birthdays are marked.  This week we also celebrated National Fitness Day by doing a dance routine together.  We had great fun!

Litter Awareness Posters

First Class created posters to encourage others not to litter.  Galway has been designated City for European Green Leaf (EGL) 2017.  They learned about the problems caused by littering and also did a litter search around the school vicinity.
