Parent-Teacher Meetings

We look forward to meeting parents on Tuesday, 25th November.  The appointments are still posted on the front door in case anyone needs a reminder.

 

Scholastic Book Order

Every family received a Setanta Book Club order form today.  Families can order books and give the appropriate payment to Matt.  Then, the books will be delivered to the school in December before the break.  By purchasing books this way, the school earns points to get books for the school.  Please return the order forms and payment by next Friday, 28th November.  We have some extra forms if yours doesn’t make it home.

 

Thank You Kilcolgan Educate Together NS

Last Friday we had a visit from Anna, the principal of Kilcolgan Educate Together, and Melinda, the school’s chairperson.  We were so delighted when they presented the school with a giant parachute.  We tried it out right away, and it is so much fun.  Many thanks to Kilcolgan ETNS for such a generous gift!

Planning Meeting for Fundraiser

There will be a meeting on Monday morning at 9 am for all parents who are able to help plan a fundraiser for the school that will take place in December.  Nicola (Torin’s mum) is spearheading the project but will require lots of help from as many parents as possible to make it a success.

Educate Together Ethos Conference

A reminder that Educate Together, our school’s patron, is holding its annual Ethos Conference tomorrow, 22nd November from 9.00 am at the National College of Ireland in Dublin.  Matt has more information if anyone would like to attend.
