Parent-Teacher Meetings
A reminder that Parent-Teacher Meetings will take place this week on Tuesday, 24th November from 13.45-18.00 and on Thursday, 26th November from 17.30-20.30. Appointment times are posted in the classrooms if you need a reminder. We look forward to meeting with you this coming week.
Accommodation Update
A list of building projects for schools was released this past week. Our school has been listed to receive a building project between 2019-2021. This was a surprise to the Board of Management as we had received no correspondence regarding our school accommodation from the Department of Education and Skills prior to this announcement. We have written to request clarification on what this announcement means for our school as well as an update on our short- and medium-term accommodation. As soon as this information is received, we will share this with the school community.
One Day Together
Many thanks to everyone who purchased raffle tickets last week. In just a few days we raised €190 to support the work of our school patron, Educate Together. There were two local prizes donated by Galway Leisure World. The two winners of the prizes were Lily (JI) and Kyra (SI). Many thanks to everyone who participated.
Number Pretzels
Senior Infants had great fun making soft pretzels in the shape of numbers. We made enough to share them with the junior infants. They were delicious!
