Family Quiz Night
A reminder that all families are invited to a family-friendly table quiz tomorrow night, Friday, 12th June from 18.30 to 20.00 sponsored by the Parent-Teacher Association. Teams will be of 4 to 5 people, but don’t worry if you don’t have a team organised as we can put them together that night. There are prizes for the winners. There’s no need to bring a snack and no fee to participate. We’ll provide popcorn for all, and everyone is welcome!
End-of-Year Events
A reminder that our annual Sports Day will take place on Wednesday, 17th June at Cappagh Park. We still need more parent volunteers on the day, and everyone has a great time being active. Don’t worry, all activities are organised in advance and parent volunteers will be working together. Please visit this link to sign up.
A reminder that our End-of-Year Whole School Assembly is now Thursday, 18th June at the Community Centre in Cappagh Park followed by ice cream back at the school. The assembly will start at 12.30. Children will walk to and from the Community Centre with staff.
Pride Celebration
Many thank to the parents who organised the Pride event including those who made the rice crispy buns and organised the kindness wall. The school was treated to a flash mob dance featuring about 60 children and some staff members after the flag raising.

School Tours
It is definitely school tour season. The junior side of the school (infants, 1st Class and 2nd Class) went to the Let’s Go Camp at the University of Galway. Fifth Class went to the Westport Activity Centre. The other classes are having their tours this week.
