The new Green School Committee organised a second Action Day towards our work on the Litter and Waste Management Flag. While the classes couldn’t come together in the halla, we used Google Meets to share and celebrate our progress as well as teach the other classes about our curriculum work. There was lots of learning about recycling, composting, sorting waste, the negative effect of plastics on the environment and the challenges associated with disposing of electronic waste. The day ended with a hunt for litter on the school grounds and in the nearby neighbourhoods.
