Children Not Returning to the School
If your child will not be returning to the school this autumn, please kindly let us know as soon as possible by emailing Matt or Claudia.
In this modern world children have access to devices in a way that parents never experienced when they were children. We are addressing this in lessons as part of Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE). There are many helpful sources of information to guide parents in keeping children safe. An great source for information is https://www.webwise.ie/parents/. We’d encourage parents to become familiar with the apps being used by children as well as help monitor your children’s online interactions no matter their age. We are hoping to organise an online meeting for parents to discuss internet safety before the end of the school year. Details will follow.
Thanks to 5th Class who weeded and prepared the raised beds. Today the Junior Infants, with the help of Claudia and Vivienne, planted cabbage, courgettes, broad beans, peas and runner beans. Some kale and chard, planted by Senior Infants, is still growing nicely. 4th Class will plant some carrots this week as well.
