Parent-Teacher Association AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association is taking place online this evening, 15th October at 18.30.  All parents are invited to join the meeting.

School Closures

A reminder there will be no school on Monday, 20th October 2025 to facilitate Child Safeguarding Training for all staff members.  The mid-term break will take place from Monday 27th October through Friday, 31st October. 

Parent-Teacher Meetings

A reminder that Parent-Teacher Meetings will take place next week.  If you haven’t already, please sign up via Aladdin Connect for an appointment with your child’s class teacher.

Enrolment Window Now Open

The enrolment window for the 2026-2027 school year is now open.  Applications can be submitted at www.ketns.ie/admissions.  A reminder that while siblings are given priority, an application must be submitted before the deadline in January.  We will have an Open Evening for prospective parents on Thursday, 27th November from 18.30-19.30.  Please pass this on to your friends and neighbours.  In addition to our 6th Class ambassadors being present, it is also very helpful to have current parents who are willing to attend the Open Evening. 

Halloween Fancy Dress

A reminder that children are invited to wear a costume on Friday, 24th October.  Children are also invited to bring in a treat that day.  We also are inviting families to contribute to the One Day Together collection to support the work of Educate Together.

Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

The junior and senior infants had a special outing today to the Galway Pumpkin Patch.  They had a fantastic day and enjoyed all the activities.

Baboró

Many of the classes are attending events as part of Baboró.  While we are asking parents to pay for the cost of any performances, the bus transport for these and other events is paid by the Board of Management through the generous support of parents’ voluntary contributions.
