Spring Fair
We are looking forward to the Spring Fair that will take place at the school on Saturday, 28th May from 12.00 to 16.00. The Parent-Teacher Association is working for hard to ensure it is a great event as both a community event and fundraiser.

Today your child will bring home raffle tickets. These can be sold in advance, and you can use the envelope provided to return the payment and the ticket stubs. If for any reason you are not able to sell the tickets, just return them to the school. If anyone would like additional tickets to sell, these will be available from Monday.
We hope that every parent would be able to give one hour of their time to volunteer. As suggested before, it might be wise to pair up with a parent from your child’s class, taking turns enjoying the activities with the children and volunteering. Below are the different ways of volunteering:
Set-up – arriving early to prepare for the day
Café – selling baked items, preparing tea/coffee,
cleaning dishes and tables
Carnival Games – leading games up on the pitch
Obstacle course – helping to run the obstacle course
being designed by Fourth Class
Carnival and Obstacle Course Tickets – selling tickets for
these activities
Welcome Desk – greeting people and selling workshop
Car Park – directing drivers to park safely in the yard
Bingo – leading bingo games
Silent Disco – helping visitors participate in the silent
Cupcake Decorating – assisting Marta with cupcake
decorating workshops
Books and Bric-a-brac – selling second-hand books and
Clean-up – tidying up after the event

You can use this link to sign-up online for volunteering
You are welcome to sign-up for more than one role if you wish. Many hands make light work!

We are asking all families to bake something for the café.
This can be dropped off at the school from the afternoon of Friday, 27th May or the morning of the fair. Second-hand books for adults or children and quality bric-a-brac items can also be brought to the school starting on Friday afternoon.

We’d also kindly ask as much as possible that people use alternative transportation on the day as the space for cars will be limited. There is plenty of space for bicycles and
scooters behind the school. It will be very important that we are respectful to the neighbours in how we park.

Many thanks in advance for all the efforts underway to make this a great day for our school community.
