End-of-Term Potlucks and Assemblies

Many thanks to everyone who helped make the end-of-term assemblies and potlucks such nice events.  A particular thank-you to the members of the Parent-Teacher Association who came in to help with set-up and clean-up on each occasion.

After-School Clubs

A new term of after-school clubs will begin next week, with most activities starting on the week of Monday, 19th January onwards. 

Junior and Senior Infants – 13.30-14.30

Mondays – GAA Skills with Martin

10 Sessions – €50, 20th Jan until 30th March (no session on 16th March)

Tuesdays – Arts and Crafts with Sylvia

10 sessions – €60, 21st Jan until 31st March (no session on 17th March)

Wednesdays – Soccer Skills with Diana

Maximum participants – 12, 11 sessions – €55, 22nd Jan until 1st April

Thursday – Superhero Training with Miss Laurie of Stepping Up Dance Arts

10 sessions – €50, 23rd Jan until 2nd April (no session on 20th February)

First through Fourth Classes – 14.30-15.30

Mondays – Basketball with Vivienne

10 sessions – €50, 20th Jan until 30th March (no session on 16th March)

Tuesdays – Arts and Crafts with Sylvia

10 sessions – €60, 21st Jan until 31st March (no session on 17th March)

Wednesdays – Gaelic Football and Soccer with Ronan

10 sessions – €50, 22nd Jan until 1st Apr (no session on 19th Feb)  

Wednesdays – Coding with Corrib Kids Coding (2nd to 4th Class only)

10 sessions – €90, 22nd Jan until 1st Apr (no session on 18th Mar)

Drama Classes

In addition to the clubs above, another afterschool activity will take place in the school, drama with Michelle O’Grady of Réalta School of Drama.  This is a six-week course. The classes will take place on Wednesdays, January 22nd – March 4th. (There will be no class on Wednesday, 19th February). To book, contact Michelle at 086 3552029.  The fee is €60.

Egg Cartons

Third Class is looking for egg cartons, so instead of recycling or composting yours, please bring them in to the office.
