School will be closed on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th February for the mid-term break.

 

Camp Between Terms

It is not too late to express interest in the full-day care service being offered between he terms during Spring Break by the Afterschool @ KETNS, numbers permitting.

Times: 8.30 to 17.30

Dates: Monday, 21st – Thursday 24th March and Tuesday, 29th March – Friday, 1st April

€120 for four full days

Please see the sign-up sheet on the parents’ noticeboard.  Wioleta is available from 13.15 daily if you have any questions.

 

Parents’ Notice Board

Please take the time to look at the notice board by the senior infant coat hooks as there are several opportunities for parents and children of the school to participate in as we develop our learning community including five-a-side soccer and a Minecraft network for children from our school.

 

Aistear

The Aistear theme for the rest of February will be transport, and we will have a garage set up for the imaginative play area.

 

Enrolment

A reminder that our school does not have a sibling right-of-entry policy.  Therefore, please ensure you have pre-enrolled all siblings as soon as possible to ensure they have a place in the school.  If you have any questions regarding this, please contact Matt.

Disco

The disco was held on Sunday 31st January.

Spring Fair

This will run again this year as it was so successful last year. The proposed date is Saturday 16th April in the school.  Karolina will organise the craft market again.  There will also be workshops, tea and coffee, a raffle, face painting and a bouncy castle. Parents must supervise their children while they are on the bouncy castle.  Advertising for this event will be done by Facebook, posters and possibly a press release.

Policy Review

The Child Protection Policy is to be circulated to all parents for consideration.  Feedback can be given to Matt or brought to the next PTA meeting.  The Code of Behaviour will also soon be circulated for parents to look at.

AOB

There is no new news re the school relocation.

Karen will review the PTA constitution.
