Thank you
Sincere thanks to everyone who made this another great year in the life of our learning community. It certainly presented some challenges, but particular
congratulations goes to the children of the school who always weathered the unusual circumstances with good humour and ease. Deep gratitude to all the staff members who gave their all throughout the year to make enjoyable and meaningful learning
experiences for all the children. Finally, special thanks to the parents of the school who gave unwavering support to their children and the wider school community. It was so wonderful to return to large in-person events which were successful because of the hard work of the Parent-Teacher Association and the many parent volunteers. We wish everyone an enjoyable, relaxing summer break and look forward to another great year.

Next School Year
The new school year begins on Thursday, 31st August. Recruitment is taking place over the summer, and as soon as teaching assignments are confirmed, we’ll send an email to families. The school expenses will remain €100 for the coming year. This pays for your child’s schoolbooks, stationery, arts materials, photocopying, Educate
Together subscription and 24-hour pupil accident insurance. There is no need to pay this until we return to school this autumn, either by bank transfer or the school website using a credit card. The calendar for the year is available on the website.

Voluntary Contribution
Many thanks to those families who generously made a voluntary contribution to the school. If you happen to be in the position to support the school with a contribution, you are welcome to make a bank transfer.

You can also donate using a credit card on our website. Please visit www.ketns.ie/voluntarycontribution.

The recommended amount has been traditionally €50, but any contribution would
be appreciated. If families are in the position of being able to make a voluntary contribution of €250 or more, the school can claim an additional amount from Revenue under the Charitable Donations Scheme.

Children not Returning to the School
A friendly reminder to let the school know if your child will not be returning to the school this autumn. Just reply to this email or ring the office.

Farewell to Rang a 6
It’s with a bittersweet mix of sadness and pride that we celebrated with the members of 6th Class who have finished with their time in our learning community. A graduation ceremony was held involving all the children of the school and the
families of our first graduating class. Particular thanks to the parent volunteers from other classes who provided a nice celebration for the 6th Class families. We wish these young people the very best for the next stage in their education and look forward to hearing about all the wonderful things they will do in secondary school and beyond.

Congratulations Rang a 6! Best wishes!
