St Patrick’s Day Holiday

A reminder that the school will be closed Monday, 18^th and Tuesday, 19^th March.  The school will also be closed on Wednesday, 20^th March for an in-service training day on the Primary Language Curriculum.  Afterschool @ KETNS will offer a two-day camp on Tuesday and Wednesday. 

World Book Day Vouchers

Apologies for the delay in giving out the vouchers for World Book Day.  We did not receive enough vouchers for all the children in the school and have requested more.  We’ll give out one per family for now and will distribute the rest when we have received them.

Parent-Teacher Association Meeting

The next PTA meeting will take place this Wednesday, 13^th March at 19.30.  The focus will be preparations for the Spring Fair that will take place on Saturday, 6^th April.  Please join us for this important meeting.

Seachtain na Gaeilge

Seo í Seachtain na Gaeilge.  Beidh gach rang ag déanamh gníomhaíochtaí trí mheán na Gaeilge an seactain seo.  Beidh Tráth na gCeist againn agus tionól speisialita ar an Aoine. 

To mark Seachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Language Week) each class will be doing special activities in Irish.  We’ll have a quiz and a special whole-school assembly on Friday.

Dance Sessions

Every Wednesday all the classes are enjoying dance lessons with Erris.  This is part of our campaign towards achieving an Active Flag.  We also had badminton lessons earlier this year.  Many thanks to the hard work of the PTA whose fundraising makes such opportunities possible.
