Creative Schools Update

Dee O’ Reilly, our Creative Associate, met with all the children last Thursday as a follow-up to the one-day workshop last term. The children talked about their choices for our Creative Schools Plan. Each child was given 3 stickers to stick on 3 different ways of being creative (e.g. Visual Arts, Circus Arts, Outdoor Arts). The Creative Committee were in the hall to help out and count the votes at the end. The next step is to hear the voices of our parents. We would like to give you the opportunity to have ‘your say’ next Tuesday. We will open up the hall at 1.30 for the junior and senior infant parents and at 2.30 also for the rest of the school community. The Creative Committee will hang questions on the wall and provide post-it notes for you to answer the questions as you wish. This way we will gather data to help us formulate our plan. Míle buíochas for your support and valued input.

Walking Bus

As part of our efforts to be an Active School, we are relaunching a Walking Bus.  After consultation, the timing and location will be adjusted.  Every Wednesday the Walking Bus will leave Cappagh Park at 8.40.  It will be supervised by a staff member and parents.  Please join us this Wednesday!
