The school marked World Children’s Day by having a whole-school focus on looking at the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Each class chose one of the rights to explore for the day, and we gathered for a whole-school assembly where each class shared information about the chosen right and the learning they had completed. Everyone wore blue, and we celebrated together the efforts in our school to empower children in understanding their rights. 6th Class organised a bake sale to support their chosen charity, Laura Lynn Foundation.
