End-of-Term Assemblies and Potlucks
We are coming to the end a busy first term. Assemblies and potlucks will take place soon. They will take place in class pairs on the dates below. Families are invited to bring some food to share, either savoury or sweet and enough for 4-6 people. For those families with siblings who have assemblies on different days, feel free to bring something to share for just one of the assemblies as there is always enough.
The assemblies will start promptly at the times below. Please park mindfully with respect to the neighbours living in the adjacent estates. At the end of the assembly, families are asked to only exit through the doors by the main office. We look forward to some enjoyable celebrations!

Family Table Quiz
Sincere thanks to all the families who participated in the table quiz. It was a most enjoyable evening. Our next family community event is a talent show that will take place in January. This is open to all members of our school community including parents and children. More details will follow but you can start preparing your acts now!

School Ambassadors
Sincere thanks to the staff, parents and especially our School Ambassadors who met visiting families during our Open Evening last week. The Ambassadors did a fantastic job of introducing our school, answering questions and impressing visitors. Well done to our fantastic Ambassadors!

World Children’s Day
The Student Council, with the support of the Learn Together Committee, organised a special assembly to celebrate World Children’s Day. Each class chose one of the articles from the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. They did learning activities and then shared their learning with the whole school community. Special recognition goes to 6th Class for organising a very successful bake sale in aid of Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice.

Rang a 6 raised close to €200 for Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice!
Lost and Found
We have accumulated a large amount of coats, hats and gloves over the last few weeks. Please check the lost and found in the front office if you are missing anything. Also, it is really helpful to write your child’s name on the tag of any items, which makes it easy to return them to their owners.
