Trip to Barna Woods
Tomorrow (Monday, 10th October) we will be going to Barna Woods and Cappagh Park. We’ll leave at 9.30 and will be back by 13.00. The weather forecast looks dry, but it may be cold in the morning. Children are welcome to bring a change of shoes. We look forward to a great day!

Parent-Teacher Association Annual General Meeting
The officers of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) met last week. They scheduled an Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Wednesday, 26th October at 19.00 at the school. All parents are kindly requested to attend. A constitution for the PTA will be discussed and voted on. (The proposed Constitution is attached to this email.) The election of members for the PTA Committee will take place at the AGM, and there will be a discussion about the vision and future of our developing school, including short- and long-term goals. The PTA is an excellent way to become involved in the life of the school.
Mid-term Camp
A mid-term camp will take place in the school during the Mid-term Break, from Tuesday, 1st to Friday, 4th November, organised by Afterschool @ KETNS. Full details are posted on the door to the school or you can speak to Wioleta any afternoon from 13.15 onwards.
Baboró
An error was made in the last newsletter. Senior Infants and First Class will be attending The Secret Life of Suitcases as part of the Baboró Children’s Festival on Friday, 21st October, one week later than previously mentioned. A permission form will be sent out by the end of the week.
