Spring Fair
Many thanks to everyone who helped make the Spring Fair a great success. Mid-term Break
School will be closed from Monday, 2nd May through Friday, 5th May inclusive for the Mid-term break. School will re-open on Monday, 9th May.
May Camp at the School
There are still places available for the May Mid-term Camp that will be held in the school next week from Tuesday, 3rd May to Friday, 6th May. Please contact Wioleta or Carmelita, who run Afterschool @ KETNS, if you are interested.
Outing
Our next outing will take place on Friday, 13th May. We’ll leave at 9.15 to visit the An Ceardlann (craft shops) and the beach in Spiddal. Parents are welcome to join us but must arrange their own transport.
Pupil Portfolio Sharing
Each child in the school will share his or her portfolio with parents on Friday, 3rd June. Parents will also have the opportunity to have a 10-minute chat with your child’s class teacher. An appointment sign-up will be posted on the classroom doors after the break.
Book Order
Scholastic book order leaflets were put in homework folders last week. We have additional copies if needed. You may also order books online at http://schools.scholastic.ie/knocknacarra-etns . All orders must be placed by 9th May.
Cinnín Óir
Maith sibh go léir, a naíonáin mhóra! Well done Senior Infants for your recent Cinnín Óir performance. Many thanks to the parents for practising lines and locating costumes.
