Parent-Teacher Association Meeting

Thank you to everyone who attended the first PTA meeting of the new year.  All parents are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting for the Parent-Teacher Association which will take place on Wednesday, 18th October at 19.30 at the school.

 

School Pictures

County Photos will be at school on the morning of Tuesday, 17th October to take individual pictures of all children as well as group photos of each class.

 

Contact Details

Apologies for the delay regarding the sending out of the contact details.  These will be distributed in homework folders or given to parents on Wednesday.  Please return them as soon as possible, even if everything is accurate.

 

Baboró Performances

Senior Infants will be attending a performance of World Images on Wednesday, 18th October.  First and Second Classes will be attending a performance of What Does Red Do on Thursday? on Thursday, 19th October.  Permission forms and further details will follow next week.  Junior Infants will have their own special outing later this year.

 

Visit to Barna Woods

Our annual visit to Barna Woods will be taking place, weather permitting, on the Thursday, 12th October.  All classes will attend, and some activities will be whole-school and others will be class-based.  Permission forms will be given out on Wednesday and should be returned next week.  Parents are welcome to join us, as always!

Senior Infants enjoyed cooking the potatoes from the school garden.  We mashed the big ones and roasted the smaller ones.
