Spring Fair Preparations
Thank you to everyone who has already signed up on the roster posted on the parents’ notice board. It would be great if everyone could give some time that day (Saturday, 29th April) to make the event successful. Raffle tickets will be sent home on Thursday or Friday, and families are encouraged to begin selling them over the break. The next Parent-Teacher Association planning meeting will take place this Wednesday at 19.00 at the school.
Spring Break
The school will be closed for Spring Break from Monday, 10th April until it re-opens on Monday, 24th April. There will be an early dismissal at 12.00 on the final day of the term, Friday, 7th April.
Mid-Term Camp
Afterschool@KETNS will be hosting a mid-term camp from Monday, 10th – Thursday, 13th April and Tuesday, 18th – Friday, 20th April. This can be for a half-day (school hours) or a full day (8.30-18.00). Please speak to Wioleta, Hazel or Jenni if you are interested. All children enrolled in the school, whether they use the afterschool service or not, are welcome to attend.
Voluntary Contribution
Thank you to everyone who has kindly made a voluntary contribution to the school. If you need another copy of the letter, please contact Claudia. Receipts will be issued after Spring Break.
Outings
It was the infants’ turn to have an outing this week. We started at Terryland Forest Park where we did a modern dance sequence about the seasons, The NELKEN Line choreographed by Pina Bausch. This was followed by a walk in the woods and wetland and then a stop at the Westside Library. The day ended with a visit to the Westside playground. Many thanks to the parents who were able to join us on our journey.
Cinnín Óir agus Na Trí Bhéar
Chuir na Naíonáin Mhóra dráma i láthair an seachtain seo faoi Cinnín Óir agus na Trí Bhéar. Bhí siad sár-mhaith ar fad.
The Senior Infants performed an Irish play about Goldilocks and the Three Bears. They were all excellent! Congratulations on a great performance.
