The school will be closed this Thursday and Friday (23rd and 24th February).  Afterschool @ KETNS still has places for the full-day camp.

Afterschool Club

There will be no arts and crafts this week.  The other clubs continue as usual.

Scholastic Book Club

Fliers for the Scholastic Book Club were distributed last week.  Paper orders can be returned to Claudia along with payment.  You can also order online. Every €1 spent gives the school 20c towards books for the school.  The deadline to submit orders is Thursday, 2nd March.

Visit to B&Q

Tomorrow Junior and Senior Infants will be visiting B&Q as part of current building theme for Aistear.

Spring Fair Preparations

The Parent-Teacher Association met on Wednesday and began planning for the upcoming Spring Fair on Saturday, 6th May.  As part of the event, we will be having a raffle.  Parents are kindly asked to help source prizes for the raffle.  A letter about the event is available from Claudia in the office which can be given to local businesses to invite them to make a donation.  Further updates regarding the Spring Fair will follow in the coming weeks.

Tá sé… (tah shay) – It is…

grianmhar (greeun-ver) – windy                            gaofar (gway-fer) – windy

scamallach (scah-mull-ukh) – cloudy                    ag cur báistí (egg cur bawsh-tee) – raining
