Afterschool Clubs

A reminder that the basketball afterschool clubs will resume this week on Wednesday.

 

Mid-term Break

The school will be closed for mid-term break on 23rd and 24th February.  Afterschool @ KETNS is offering a full-day camp on those two days.  Please sign up on the parent noticeboard.  Wioleta and Hazel are available each afternoon if you have any questions.

 

Friday Assemblies

Every Friday the school comes together to share what each class has been doing that week.  Each class shares a song, poem or presentation, and this is followed by a whole-school activity.  This week we had lots of fun playing Follow the Leader.

GET2LS Campaign

The names of over 1,400 children whose parents would like them to attend an Educate Together second-level school in Galway have been gathered.  These include not alone children from the 5 Educate Together primary schools in Galway, but also children from over 50 other primary schools in the county.  A petition to the Minister for Education and Skills (https://my.uplift.ie/petitions/galway-needs-a-second-level-educate-together-school-now-1)  has been initiated to raise the profile of our campaign and to demonstrate how many people support the opening of an Educate Together second-level school in Galway.
