The entire school, including children, parents and staff, have been engaging in a consultation process to help us determine what ways we would like to be creative now that we are one of the 150 pilot schools involved in the Creative Schools programme supported by The Arts Council. Dee is our school’s Creative Associate, and she has been involving everyone in helping to make this decision. The areas we have found that we are interested in pursuing are creating sculpture and puppetry with an outdoor focus.
